The HOT and COLD properties of food according to Chinese medicine

   Hello everyone. It been a long time that I never blog due to my examination week. I just finish few examination and one more to go. For the past few week, I have been received a message about the hot and cold properties of food according to Chinese medicine from Gaviscon

   It is quite interesting message that I would like to share with my readers. Before I'm proceed to the point. Let's do some activities. Anyone know what is food? What kind of foods you prefer? How do you categories the foods?

Examples of Food

   Food can be defined as a cuisine that provides nutrients to our body. Majority people like foods and I also one of them that really love foods.

   According to Chinese medicine, the food properties is divided two categories that known as HOT and COLD.

   What is HOT food properties according to Chinese medicine? Hot foods also known as heat-inducing quality. What is COLD food properties according to Chinese medicine? Cold foods also has the ability to chill our body, organs and also fluids.

   Imbalance of 'Hot' and 'Cold' will cause sickness to us. Moreover, it will also make us something in HOT (such tending towards sweating) or COLD(such as tending toward shivering). If someone that eat too much "hot" foods such as chilli pepper or lobsters will cause rash while people that eat too much of "cold" foods such as watermelon or seaweed will cause stomach pain.
