The launching of The Internation Museum Day 2018 at the Banda Hilir, Melaka
Staring 23 till 25 July 2018, the Tourism Malaysia and as well as the Department of Museums Malaysia will organize the “Tourism Malaysia Media Challenge 2.0” as well as celebrating and the launching of the The International Museum Day 2018. The “Tourism Malaysia Media Challenge 2.0” this round will be focusing at Negeri Sembilan and Melaka.

Muzium Adat is also known as the Custom Museum that is allocate at the Kuala Klawang, Jelebu District, Negeri Sembilan. The museum was originally constructed in 2005 and officially opened on 2 February 2008 by Negeri Sembilan Chief Minister Mohamad Hasan and Minister for Culture, Arts and Heritage Rais Yatim. The Muzium Adat consists of 4 main gallerias .
  • Ground Floor -Introduction of custom
  • First Floor - Life cycle
  • Second Floor - Intellectual tradition, government and power
  • Third Floor - Pepatih custom

Adat Teratak Perpatih Muzium
Negeri Sembilan State Museum is located at the Crafts & Cultural Handicraft Complex and is located along Jalan Sungai Ujong, Seremban. If you are in this state capital and is keen to learn more about the history of this state as well as appreciate the many artifects here, plan to spend an hour or so here. The main building of the complex is known as Teratak Perpatih which was constructed based on the traditional Minangkabau dwelling, as indicated by its roof. For the information, the wooden structure houses many pieces of handicraft and historical paraphernalia.

The Lukut Museum (Muzium Lukut) was built by the Department of Museums and Antiquities (now Department of Museums Malaysia) in collaboration with the Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus government with the intention of spreading information and historical proof related to Lukut. There will be 4 main galleries :-

  • Gallery B :The Political System ( Monarchy and District Chiefdoms )
  • Gallery C :Enterprise and Economy
  • Gallery D :Culture
